Reviews and Ratings
Waking up to the breathtaking views of Lake Kawaguchi from my old-fashioned lakeside room was truly unforgettable. The hotel offers a unique experience with its panoramic scenery, but there was a slight issue of stale cigarette smoke, which was unexpected during my travels in Japan.
I was thrilled with my stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and beautiful, and I could even catch a view of Mt. Fuji when the weather was good. The availability of rooms, even in high season, was a huge plus. The service was exceptional, with the staff being friendly, accommodating, and exceptionally helpful despite language barriers. The location was fabulous, offering easy access to shops, restaurants, and the Ropeway, with a nice view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. The dining experience was incredible, but the limited breakfast hours could be a drawback. Overall, a lovely stay with great amenities.
The hotel offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, with friendly and helpful service. The rooms, though old-fashioned, provide stunning views from the windows. The location is convenient for exploring the area, while the dining options offer a mix of Western and Japanese cuisine with a great view. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the bright side, the room was fantastic with a double balcony, but the price we ended up paying was way higher than expected. The location, however, was excellent with convenient access to sightseeing spots, though the room itself was a bit dark and Spartan.
Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight. The rooms were not only spacious but also offered magical views, making my stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The service was exceptional, with a deep understanding of Japanese bath customs and a respectful staff. The location, while not the best for seeing Fijisan, was clean and convenient, providing informative insights into the Japanese bathhouse culture. Dining was a highlight, with delicious meals served in a stunning setting. Overall, a wonderful experience with great value for money.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The room was a perfect blend of traditional ryokan style and modern western comforts with a double balcony offering stunning views of Lake Kawaguchi. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially with Japanese bath customs. The location, overlooking the lake and near the station, was a definite plus with convenient amenities nearby. The dining experience was delicious and diverse, complemented by an in-room onsen. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a memorable stay.
